Music Videos From Pharrell, Miley Cyrus, Cardi B, Diljit Making An Impression On YouTube This Weekend

YouTube’s most viewed music video in the last 24 hours is a tribute to the legendary singer, Amar Singh Chamkila, presented through the Punjab song “Ishq Mitaye,” is the first track from the Netflix film “Amar Singh Chamkila” starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra. The song, composed by A.R. Rahman and performed by Mohit Chauhan, seamlessly merges traditional and Western musical elements surpassed 11 million views within a day.

Diljit shared the song on Instagram, expressing his pride in the film and its cultural significance.

The song not only showcases the musical prowess of the lead actors but also serves as a heartfelt tribute to Chamkila, who defied the odds on his path to stardom.

‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ scheduled for release on Netflix April 12, is about the captivating saga of Punjab’s original rockstar, directed by Imtiaz Ali and scored by Rahman. The film delves into Chamkila’s journey from rags to riches, exploring the controversies that surrounded him.

Rahman and Ali expressed their excitement for the project, praising Diljit’s versatility and Parineeti’s contribution to the musical landscape. The fusion of traditional Punjabi music with contemporary storytelling promises to make ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ a cinematic marvel.

Debuting on YouTube with 1.7 million views within 20 hours is Cardi B’s Offset directed freestyle video for “Like Wha (Freestyle).”

It’s the Bronx rapper’s first release since the release of “Bongos” with Megan Thee Stallion. Known for her unapologetic style, delivers fiery verses over a sample of Missy Elliott’s iconic track “She’s a B***h.”

In the song’s intro, Cardi sets the tone with bold statements, “Ayo, let me throw some gas on this muthaf**kin’ year, b***h. I ain’t really talked my s**t in a minute. Who the f**k these b****es really think they talking to? B***h, is you f**king dumb?” Card says in the intro.”

Asserting her dominance and addressing her critics head-on. Throughout the track, she unleashes a barrage of sharp-tongued lyrics aimed at those who doubt her.

The accompanying video which surged to No. 1 trending in the U.S.showcases Cardi’s confidence as she struts around a lavish mansion in various bikini-style ensembles, flaunting her curves.

The release of “Like What (Freestyle)” follows speculation among fans sparked by missing person posters featuring Cardi B, suggesting a potential album rollout. With her sophomore album anticipated by many since her Grammy-winning debut, Invasion of Privacy, Cardi’s return is met with eager anticipation.

“Doctor(Work It Out)” by Pharrell Williams and Miley Cyrus (Official Video) is also making an impression on YouTube less than 24 hours after bribing uploaded with 2.3 million views.

The single marks their first official collaboration since 2014 but the song the song, was initially recorded in 2012 during Cyrus’s work on her album “Bangerz,” and resurfaced after leaking online in 2017. Pharrell explained to Zane Lowe of Apple Music that despite feeling the potential of the song early on, they waited for the right timing to release it.“We just knew it was early. We just knew we was on something that felt good to us, but just because the iPad came out when it came out doesn’t mean that it was Steve Jobs and his team’s idea only a year before,” he said.

The video features Cyrus in a glamorous outfit reminiscent of her recent Tina Turna inspired Grammy performance. Pharrell and Cyrus first collaborated during Cyrus’s transition from her role as Hannah Montana, and their relationship has continued to evolve creatively. The song is a reflection of Cyrus’s current spirit and essence, embodying joy, celebration, and fun.
