New Releases from Ed Sheeran, Peso Pluma, Kehlani, and More On June 21, 2024

Some of the biggest names in the industry are set to drop new singles and albums tonight and midnight (June 21.)

Whether you’re a fan of pop, hip-hop, or EDM, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a rundown of what’s hitting the streams and airwaves at midnight.

Peso Pluma — “ÉXODO” 

Peso Pluma will release his new double album “Éxodo” featuring 24 tracks and collaborations including Cardi B, Quavo, Ivan Cornejo, and more. The album is a mix of 16 songs in the Mexican music style that launched his career and eight urbano tracks. This follows his Grammy-winning debut “Génesis.” Peso Pluma recently performed “La Durango” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and will tour North America. The album’s release date was announced in a music video teaser featuring Conor McGregor.

Ed Sheeran — “X (10th Anniversary Edition)” 

Celebrating a decade of his seminal album “X,” Ed Sheeran offers fans a special edition with new tracks and remixes exactly 10 years after its original release. This edition will feature the original 12 tracks plus nine bonus tracks, including “I See Fire” from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and “All of the Stars” from The Fault in Our Stars. Sheeran announced the news on Instagram with a video showing multiple versions of himself engaging in various activities while wearing hoodies with the album’s green “x” design.

Since its 2014 release, “x” has sold over 22 million copies globally and includes the Grammy-winning song “Thinking Out Loud.” Reflecting on the album, Sheeran shared that it was created during a transformative period from 2011 to 2014, which saw him go from performing in pubs to selling out arenas, falling in and out of love, and collaborating with top producers.

Sheeran will celebrate the anniversary with a show at Barclays Center in New York on May 22. Tickets go on sale on May 6, and the album and merch are available for pre-order, set to be released on June 21.

Kehlani — “Crash” 

Kehlani’s latest album promises to deliver her signature blend of R&B and pop, with deeply personal lyrics and smooth production. Set to be released via Atlantic Records this will be her fourth major-label studio album, following her previous works: “Blue Water Road” (2022), “It Was Good Until It Wasn’t” (2020), and “SweetSexySavage” (2017). The announcement comes after her recent single, “After Hours,” released last month.

Gracie Abrams — “The Secret of Us” Gracie’s debut album is highly anticipated, featuring introspective songwriting and beautiful melodies.

G-Eazy — “Freak Show” G-Eazy’s latest album dives into the darker side of fame and love, with gritty lyrics and bold beats.

Kygo — “Kygo” The EDM superstar’s new album promises to deliver his signature tropical house sound, perfect for summer playlists.

Singles:

Charli XCX & Lorde — “Girl, so confusing (Remix)” Two icons of the alt-pop scene come together to remix this enigmatic track. Expect electrifying vocals and a pulsating beat.

Ariana Grande, Brandy & Monica — “The Boy Is Mine (Remix)” A nostalgic treat with a modern twist. Ariana joins forces with R&B legends Brandy and Monica to revisit their classic hit.

Gracie Abrams & Taylor Swift — “us.” A heartfelt collaboration between two songwriting powerhouses. Prepare for emotional lyrics and haunting melodies.

NewJeans — “Supernatural” The rising K-pop group NewJeans delivers an otherworldly track that’s bound to captivate fans with its ethereal sound.

Peso Pluma & Cardi B — “Put Em In The Fridge” A fiery collaboration blending Latin trap and hip-hop, showcasing the dynamic styles of Peso Pluma and Cardi B.

Ice Spice — “Phat Butt” Known for her bold lyrics and catchy beats, Ice Spice is back with another track that’s sure to dominate the charts.

Camila Cabello — “Chanel No. 5” Camila’s latest single promises sultry vocals and a sophisticated vibe, perfect for summer nights.

Paris Hilton & Rina Sawayama — “I’m Free” An unexpected yet exciting pairing, bringing a blend of pop and avant-garde influences to the table.
