Nicki Minaj has given another solid endorsement to dancehall newcomer Skeng. This time for his song Protocol with Tommy Lee. The 1st Class Music production debut at No. 1 on the World Music Views Youtube Chart in the week of November 19, 2021.
Nicki posted in the YouTube comments lyrics from the song:

The video for the Jamaican chart topper, directed by The Trueyez Films features prominently a NYPD patrol car in the streets of New York City, where Skeng and his crew flex lyrics matching gun talk and gun showing.
Just last week the Hip Hop Queen who has always been hip to Jamaican culture posted a video of her singing Skeng’s other chart topping trap dancehall joint Street Cred which peaked at number 3 on the World Music Views YouTube chart with the caption “Gvnman- dat sweet me 🍬”
Since Street Cred hit last July, Skeng has had repeated fortunes in the industry with hits like Gvnman Shift, Heaven Passport with Intence and most recently the 5 week running number 1 song Talibhan, with Stalk Ashley.
Fellow dancehall hitmaker Govana said recently, “Skeng remind me so much of Deablo, mi old self,”
“We actually share one high school together, also. And then, just the way him move, him crazy. Him nuh scared ah nutten, and him brave…people can tell yuh, him nuh really like nobody neither,” Govana added while speaking during an interview with DJ Chris Satta on April 20. “Him really an’ truly, him social distance. Him nuh really have nuh whole heap ah artist fren an’ dem ting deh an’ just people in general. Him jus’ kinda jus’ lock weh and more reserved than anything else.”
Skeng is the top YouTube artist in Jamaica for the past week and has been performing in the UK for the last two weeks. His latest song London produced by Ditruth Records and Droptop Records has surpassed 1.5 million views on YouTube since its April 22 release. It is scheduled to debut at number 1 this week on the World Music Views YouTube Chart in Jamaica.
