A day after its released Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Pink Friday 2’ has sold 500,000 album units in streams and sales during its lifetime according to Chart Data including previously released tracks “Last Time I Saw You” and “Super Freaky Girl” the latter of which debuted at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album also had two more promotional singles, namely “Red Ruby da Sleeze” and “Bahm Bahm.”
The achievement make the album eligible for Gold certification in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
It is projected to sell between 170,000-190,000 album equivalent units in its first week of release according to HITTSDD , with approximately 100k coming from streaming and an estimated 90k in pure sales.
“Pink Friday 2,” will not only become the Queen Of Hip Hop’s third No. 1 album, but also marks a historic moment as the first #1 female rap album to do so in over five years, while making her the female rapper with the most No. 1 albums in history.

Adding to the album’s triumphs, “Needle” featuring Drake and “Everybody” featuring Lil Uzi Vert have both peaked at #1 on iTunes. These achievements further extend Nicki Minaj’s dominance, bringing her total to an impressive 42 #1’s on the US iTunes Chart.
