Omi drops steamy visualizer for “S.O.B. (Standing On Business)” shot on location in Jamaica.

Premiering Friday, January 30 at 12:00 p.m., the video leans fully into sun-drenched Caribbean flavor, pairing bold fashion, dancehall mixed with ska movements, set in a gritty street scenery with Omi’s charismatic screen presence. Directed by @colormestadic, the visual feels raw but stylized — part block party for 2 and a low key fashion flex.

The Cheerleader singer rocks a sleeveless fuzzy knit top in yellow, cream and brown stripes, the textured fabric giving him a flashy, almost plush, stage-ready silhouette. A matching yellow fuzzy headband blends into his dyed blond hair, creating a coordinated, high-impact color story that pops against the muted zinc fences and concrete surroundings. Oversized white-framed sunglasses add a retro celebrity edge, while his relaxed, leaned-back posture and expressive hand gestures give him an effortless “bossed-up” presence. He performs with a mix of laid-back cool and animated delivery — pointing skyward, mouthing lyrics with emphasis, and moving his shoulders and upper body to the rhythm rather than going full choreography, which keeps the vibe confident and unforced.

The tall female dancer brings strong dancehall energy and visual contrast. She wears a white two-piece with bold red polka dots — a fitted crop-style top and high-waisted bottoms — styled with white leg coverings and red strappy heels that accentuate her long lines. Her hair is pulled back with a headband, and bright accessories add extra color. Her movement is grounded in dancehall tradition: low, controlled bends, hip-driven isolations, quick foot placements and fluid transitions from standing to floor-level poses. She moves with sharp confidence, using levels and angles to command the frame while still playing off Omi’s performance.

The environment is distinctly Jamaican and intentionally unpolished. Corrugated zinc fences, narrow lanes, hanging sheet fabric backdrops and pastel-painted buildings create a yard-style setting that feels lived-in and real. Natural daylight gives everything a warm glow, while the mix of textures: metal, concrete, cloth and greenery — adds visual depth. The contrast between high-fashion styling and everyday surroundings reinforces the song’s theme of “standing on business” — showing up sharp, self-assured and unbothered, no matter the setting.
