Paris Hilton and Carter Reum’s wedding was nothing short of a star studded affair on Thursday. The two tied the knot at Hilton’s late grandfather’s $60 million Belair estate on 11/11. Their guests included the who is who of opulence and entertainment.
Attendees to the romantic soirée included Emma Roberts, Paula Abdul, Bebe Rexha, Demi Lavato, Kyle Richards and Kim Kardashian.
During the reception, Lavato performed I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston, which set the tone for the evening celebrations.
“They were incredible. It brought so much emotion and love to the event.
The reception was everything I wanted… chic, cute and fun.. I got to dance with my dad, and Carter had the most amazing dance with his mom…”, stated a release on her website.
Hilton, who had been dating the entrepreneur since 2019 was clad in a custom Oscar de la Renta dress as she walked down the isle to Stars Are Blind performed by Kim Petras.
Her teamed put into words the emotions leading up to the big ‘I do’:
“I remember my first two steps down the aisle so clearly. Getting to see the faces of all my loved ones, and closest friends out in the crowd, and all their eyes on me I felt more like a Princess than ever before. Then seeing Carter’s handsome face… It was almost more emotional than the first look. I had to hold myself together though because if I didn’t then I’d be crying in all the footage for the show. It was such pure magic.
I reached the end of the altar and Carter took my hands in his. Suddenly I wasn’t as nervous. Carter has that effect on me… he makes everything feel like a fairy tale,”
she wrote.
Reum had proposed on February 13 during Hilton’s birthday celebrations on a private island. The two might not be royals by blood, but their union makes them an ultra powerful couple. Both are from notable backgrounds and are undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with.
Reum, is most known for founding M13 Ventures, an angel investment firm. According to their LinkedIn account, M13, “injects capital to fuel high-growth, while helping founding teams fill gaps in their businesses through our Propulsion Team, which provides strategic counsel, operational expertise, and a constellation of talent, experts, and resources to accelerate growth.”
The businessman is estimated to have a net worth between $35 and $40 million.
His father was former president, chairman and CEO of Chicago-based Amsted Industries, one of the largest private enterprises in the US, and currently valued at $4 billion.
Meanwhile, Reum’s wife has an estimated net worth of $300 million. She is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of the Hilton Hotel chain but has earned her own fortune through a highly lucrative endorsement and product empire.
The socialite’s licensing empire today includes retail stores around the world that sell Paris-branded clothing, handbags, perfumes and more. To date she has endorsed 17 fragrances that have generated over $2 billion in gross revenue.
