According to the magazine, the former President told multiple people that the artist formerly knows as Kanye West is acting too “crazy” and that he needs some professional “help,” citing “two sources with knowledge of the matter.”
On the Revolt show Drink Champs, with fellow rapper N.O.R.E, the Bound 2 rapper ranted about “the Jewish media,” Kim Kardashian, and others who he says are not showing respect even though he has money and power as per the first line in the Lox’s 1998 single “Money, Power, Respect”.
Trump has not said anything public about his friend which is unlike the outspoken president if he feels strongly about a subject. Kanye has stated that his grouse are with certain people who have tried to marginalize him over the years.
West’s recent public rants came as he sought to make right the arrangements made with GAP and Adidas over what he said are unmet expectations. Elsewhere in the media they have tried to paint the music mogul as crazy saying his rants are “triggered by mental-health issues.”
The Chicago rapper and Donald Trump have granted each other favors over the years but during the Drink Champs interview he said he and Trump are good “for now.”
West has taken a lot of public flak for wearing the MAGA hat all through Trump’s presidency as he agitated the Democratic party supporters and even his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
Another subject the Donda artist touched on during the Drink Champs interview was the possibility of a Watch The Throne 2 album with Jay-Z. Without saying much Ye shared a drink of Jay – Z’s Dusse with N.O.R.E and DJ Effn and toasted to Watch The Throne 2. “This D’usse is brought to you by my brother, Hov,” he said. “Courtesy of The Throne. Part two coming soon.”
Watch the Throne original is Jay and Ye’s 2011 collaborative studio album released on Roc-A-Fella Records/Defjam Recordings/Roc-Nation. The album features guest appearances from Frank Ocean, The-Dream, Beyoncé and Mr Hudson and more.
It is currently certified 5 times Platinum in the U.S by the RIAA and Platinum in the U.K. by the BPI.
Much of the recording for the album took place in Hawaii, Australia and the U.K.
Rumors of Watch the Throne 2 have been circulating as early as 2013, then Ye’s protégé Justin Laboy tweeted in 2021 “Watch The Throne 2 coming end of the year. Kanye & Hov about to make history AGAIN,” he wrote on Twitter, adding, “YES. HOV & YE back building again. They both rich enough to quit rapping, but the passion they share of making the fans happy got them back working.”
The Wild Thoughts artist who has promised a reggae album for the last three years is reportedly back in the studio and will be using the Super Bowl “to relaunch her new music.”
