Protoje shoots to the top of the YouTube Jamaica Weekly Chart with his single “BIG 45.” The track which previously debuted top 10 on the chart, makes a remarkable return at No. 1 with 544,822 streams. The song has surpassed 2.1 million streams globally since its March 7 release.
It is the first reggae track to reach No. 1 in 2025. The Grammy-nominated reggae singer, replaces last week’s chart-topper “999” by Jamal, which drops to No. 3 this week.
Rising Ghanaian singer Moliy holds steady at No. 2 with “Shake It To The Max (FLY),” now in its 12th week on the chart and previously peaking at No. 1 for four days. Her upbeat anthem racked up 435,084 streams, showing continued strength with a 26,705 stream increase.
Jamal’s “999” slips two spots after its recent peak, though it still pulled in a solid 416,284 views, despite a significant 137,699 stream drop. Jamal’s longevity is evident, with his other hit “Ballandor” still clinging to the chart at No. 17after 32 weeks, where it has hit No. 1 twice.
Armanii and Malie Donn’s collaboration “8:00 PM” holds strong at No. 4, climbing with 311,700 views, and Squashmakes a massive leap from outside the top 15 to No. 5 with “Know Bout Dat,” gaining 140,428 streams week-on-week.

Notably, Malie Donn holds three spots on the chart this week with “7:00” (No. 12), “Body Tea” (No. 15), and “Dirty Mirror” (No. 20), showcasing his consistency in fan engagement.
Veteran Masicka continues his 24-week run with “Whites” at No. 19, while newcomer ASCE AA SPADE continues to rise with “Carry On” at No. 8, up 53,800 streams from last week.
