RajahWild’s “Gogo” Is The Highest-Charting Dancehall Song on Spotify Jamaica in 2024

“Standing Next To You” by Jung Kook claims No. 1 in Jamaica on Spotify.

Spotify’s year-end list of the top songs in Jamaica for 2024 reflects the country’s diverse musical tastes, blending international chart-toppers with homegrown bangers. Dominating the list is Jung Kook, the BTS member turned global solo sensation, securing the top two spots with “Standing Next to You” and the Latto-assisted “Seven,” showcasing his crossover appeal and resonance with Jamaican listeners.

Representing the vibrant local music scene, RajahWild’s infectious hit “Gogo” takes the third spot. The song which is produced by Rvssian on the Dutty Money Riddim is also the top song on YouTube for 2024.

 

While NIGY BOY’s “Continent” from the Dutty Money Riddim and “Judgement” underscore his rising influence with two tracks in the top 10. Dancehall heavyweights Intence and Valiant deliver crowd favorites with “SHH” and “Lumbah,” proving the genre’s enduring popularity on the island.

450’s “Wild n’ Rich” and Bobo Starr’s collaboration with Gyalfest Records on “Gyalfest Town Intro” add dynamic flair, celebrating Jamaican artistry. Meanwhile, international R&B sensation SZA rounds out the list with her sultry track “Snooze,” reflecting the global reach of her music.

This year’s rankings highlight Jamaica’s unique ability to embrace both local and international sounds, cementing its position as a cultural hub for music lovers worldwide.
