Reports are that he and his crew were involved in an altercation with Quando Rondo‘s crew outside of the Monaco hookah lounge in Atlanta, Georgia. The dispute turned into gunfire, which resulted in the “Welcome To O Block” artist being shot multiple times.
Nipsey Hussle was also gunned down outside his clothing shop in Los Angeles on the cusp of his rise to fame with a message of independence, consciousness and unity
The “All Money In No Money Out” artist died as a result of gunshot wounds to the head and torso.

In 2018, Young Dolph’s single “Major” peaked at number 47 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
In July 2019, he released his collaborative album with Key Glock, titled Dum and Dummer. The album peaked at number eight on the Billboard 200, earning each artists their first top 10 album.
His seventh album, Rich Slave, was released on August 14, 2020. It was preceded by the singles “Blue Diamonds”, “RNB” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and “Death Row”. Dolph explained the album’s title, stating “It’s the reality of being Black in this country”.
He was shot at several times before and made a video is his hospital bed in 2017.
