Rauw Alejandro has teamed up with multi-talented producer Pharrell Williams and Swae Lee for the track “Airplane Tickets.”
The track made its debut during Pharrell’s debut Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 Runway Show in Hong Kong. Accompanying the release is the official music video, skillfully directed by Maxime Quoilin and produced by the Good Company. Filmed on various locations across Hong Kong, including the renowned Avenue of Stars, the video perfectly complements the dynamic energy of the song.
This marks Pharrell Williams’ follow up to the collabs with A$AP Rocky on “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)” and the KAYTRAMINÉ bouncy single, “4EVA,” seven months ago.
Alejandro garnered seven new music certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Notably, he secured a 2x Platino (Latin Platinum) certification for both the album Playa Saturno and the single Diluvio, denoting the remarkable feat of selling 120,000 units for each. Saturno certified 5x Platinum for selling 300,000 units, Punto 40 certified 14x Platinum (840,000 single units), Baby Hello 3x Platinum (180,000 single).
