Rebel Salute’s inaugural US staging has been postponed.

Reggae fans in the U.S. will have to wait a little longer for the debut of Rebel Salute USA. The organizers, held by reggae legend Tony Rebel announced that the event, originally scheduled for this weekend, has been postponed due to the forecast of severe thunderstorms.

“Out of deep care for our fans, artists, and partners, we’ve made the heartfelt decision to postpone the first-ever Rebel Salute USA due to the forecast of severe thunderstorms this weekend,” the statement read.

For over three decades, Rebel Salute has been synonymous with excellence, integrity, and a love for reggae, roots, and culture. While the U.S. debut will be delayed, the team assures fans that the mission remains unchanged: to carry the spirit of reggae and roots music wherever it is welcomed. 🌍💚💛❤️

The rescheduled date is April 19, 2026, and all tickets purchased will remain valid for the new date. Organizers emphasized that the decision was made with the safety and comfort of attendees in mind.

“Thank you for standing with us through every season. Your support keeps this movement alive,” the statement concluded.

Fans are encouraged to mark their calendars and continue supporting what promises to be a landmark event in bringing the iconic Jamaican festival to the U.S.
