Reggae enthusiasts and music lovers in Abu Dhabi, are in for a remarkable fusion of sports and music, as Reggae Beachfest and the World Tennis League join forces with the city of Abu Dhabi to present the top billing reggae event.
Multi platinum British band UB40, renowned for their iconic reggae and pop hits like “Red Red Wine” and “Kingston Town” along with the The Original Wailers, carrying the torch of Bob Marley’s reggae legacy, will bring the spirit of Jamaica to the UAE on December 23.
Reggae Beach Fest director Kenya Don told WMV that, “this is a groundbreaking partnership with the World Tennis League and Reggae Beachfest to host.”
He also says “Actually is the goverment of Abu Dhabi put us together department of culture and tourism They have the Tennis league we have the masses of Caribbean and produce events and promote so it’s was just natural we merge and do it big ,music and tennis.”
The Reggae Beachfest All Star DJs will also be bringing the Dancehall vibes , and everything Caribbean. The promoter says “these DJs are masters at curating an electrifying atmosphere, ensuring that the music never stops and the dancing never ends.”
