Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have jointly shared that production for “Bad Boys 4” is now wrapped in Miami.

Smith and Lawrence are reprising their roles as detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, the enduring duo, both pals and police partners, are captured fist-bumping against the backdrop of a Ferris wheel. Smith confirmed the conclusion of filming in the caption, stating, “WRAPPED! Nothin’ but Magic every time I’m with my guy. See y’all June 7 for [Bad Boys 4]!”

Following their collaboration in three preceding installments of the popular action film series, the production of the fourth “Bad Boys” film caused road closures in Miami and Fort Lauderdale Beach as stunt drivers filmed scenes for the movie.

The film, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, is set to premiere on June 14, after being delayed due to a SAG-AFTRA strike in July 2023.

Although the fourth movie is yet to receive an official title, Smith and Lawrence previously joked about reserving the “Bad Boys for Life” title for this sequel. The screenplay for the new chapter is credited to Chris Bremner.

Recently, it was revealed that Jacob Scipio, portraying the son of Will Smith’s character, will make a return in Bad Boys 4 after his introduction in Bad Boys for Life. Additionally, other stars from the previous film set to reprise their roles include Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, and DJ Khaled. Notably, Tasha Smith will assume the role of Theresa Burnett, Marcus Burnett’s wife, previously portrayed by Theresa Randle. The cast will also welcome newcomers Rhea Seehorn, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, and Joyner Lucas.

The Bad Boys franchise, now spanning nearly three decades, commenced with the original Bad Boys film in 1995. No word has yet been released about the film’s upcoming soundtrack but reflecting, the 1995 action-comedy film’s soundtrack was released on March 21, 1995, by Sony Music Entertainment’s Work Records. It reached No. 26 on the Billboard 200 and No. 13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Charting singles included “Never Find Someone Like You” by Keith Martin, “Someone to Love” by Jon B. featuring Babyface, and “Shy Guy” by Diana King peaked at No. 13 on the Hot 100.

Without revealing too much, Inner Circle’s Ian Lewis told WMV a few months ago, that his RIAA Gold selling song “Bad Boys” which was featured on all soundtracks for the previous installments of the franchise is an example of what reggae can do in the marketplace, “‘Bad Boys’ was one song that spanned four movies and made over two billion dollars. A song is a song and you don’t know where it will go,” he said.
