Las Vegas is turning up the volume on Caribbean culture this June, as two major reggae powerhouses make their mark on the Strip—Grammy-winning legend Buju Banton and the highly anticipated Bob Marley Hope Road immersive experience.

Buju Banton is set to perform live at PH Live at Planet Hollywood on Saturday, June 7, 2025. This, Banton’s first time in Las Vegas is expected to attract 7000 reggae fans as he brings the spirit of Kingston to Sin City.

Later in the month, a groundbreaking tribute to Bob Marley launches at Mandalay Bay. Bob Marley Hope Road, produced by global entertainment company FiveCurrents in partnership with Primary Wave Music, will open to the public on June 25, 2025. This revolutionary attraction isn’t just a show—it’s an all-sensory journey through Marley’s life, lyrics, and legacy.

“Get ready for a punky reggae party when Bob Marley Hope Road brings people of all ages together,” said Scott Givens, Chief Creative Officer and CEO of FiveCurrents. “Bob’s iconic voice and anthemic lyrics will take audiences on a journey where spectacular visuals and stunning performances sweep them into the middle of the show… literally.”

The experience offers two distinct encounters:

•A walk-through by day, immersing guests in Bob Marley’s story through vibrant visuals and interactive storytelling.

•A live performance by night, featuring high-energy showcases that celebrate Marley’s revolutionary sound and message.

Executive producers on the project include Cedella Marley, Ziggy Marley, Scott Givens, and Larry Mestel, founder of Primary Wave and a former Island Records executive. The installation, located just off the Mandalay Bay casino floor next to Orla, will operate seven days a week.

These events are not listed as part of any official celebrations but June is recognized in the United States as National Caribbean American Heritage Month, following a presidential proclamation issued by President George W. Bush on June 5, 2006. The month honors the contributions of Caribbean Americans—both naturalized citizens and those born in the U.S.—to the nation’s history, culture, and development.

Meanwhile later in the fall, Las Vegas Dancehall Weekend takes place September 12-14 with party dolls Rebel TC and Prettii Prettii.
