Rihanna’s Super Bowl Performance Was A 13 Minute Fenty Commercial

The show stopping Super Bowl Half Time Performance by Rihanna was enough to crash Twitter as the Barbadian beauty ended her set with ‘Diamonds In The Sky.’ Speculations on whether or not the mother of 1 is pregnant again took the top trending spot.

The Beauty products Billionaire’s hits filled 13 minute performance was a Fenty brands advertisement and a reminder that anything is possible.

The trailer for the half time show was a little girl from her hometown embodying what Rihanna was like growing up in her neighborhood now called “Rihanna Drive” to becoming the first Caribbean artist to headline football’s biggest event.

The dramatic declaration of “Bitch Better Have My Money” to start as she suspends herself in the air  even though the Super Bowl doesn’t pay it’s half time performers. However, while Rihanna was on stage her albums “Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded” and “Loud” took the No. 1 and No. 2 portions on the U.S. iTunes Pop albums chart and Umbrella featuring Jay Z shot up to No. 2 on all genres singles chart.

It was obvious she was there to sell everything except music. Rihanna is a statement, her fashion, her presence, her voice.

She is the first artist to integrated their billion dollar line of makeup products mid performance and the first artist perform at the Super Bowl while pregnant all be it about 500 feet in the sky on what some fans pointed out was a rocky platform (get it).

She did not bring out a single guest(except the baby) despite reports and speculations that she might have even though she did collaborative tracks like “Run This Town” with Kanye and Jay Z, “Wild Thoughts” featuring DJ Khaled and Work which features Drake.

Her red ensemble custom-made for her by luxury labels Loewe and Alaïa seems similar to her former label mate Kanye West’s red CRIMSON Yeezy x Gap gear at Donda album release worn in Atlanta at the Mercedes Benz Stadium last July.

Rihanna’s dancers were also decked out in Fenty sports bras and other underwear as she used the opportunity to build her lingerie and beauty empire.

On Friday LVMH announced that they will be putting the breaks on Rihanna’s Fenty “ready to wear active brand” and The fashion mogul’s label took advantage of the moment, reminding fans on social media that the dancers’ sports bras, boxers and mesh tank tops are all available for sale.

Loewe, whose parent company LVMH also owns a majority stake in Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand, described the show as an “unforgettable moment,” in a press statement.
“Rihanna is a true icon, and working with her to bring these stage looks to life feels like a wild, wonderful dream,” the statement said.
