However, fans were surprised to find out that although the top Roc Nation singer has been heavily influenced by Jamaican music and culture, the Barbadian billionaire notably excluded Jamaica.
Fenty Beauty products will be available in the Caribbean at Lipstick Antigua, Maggy’s Aruba, and John Bull in the Bahamas. In Rihanna’s home country, Barbados, the products are available at Bridgetown Duty Free.
Bermuda shoppers can find them at 59 Front, while Kirk Freeport offers Fenty Beauty in the Cayman Islands. In Trinidad & Tobago and Grenada, fans can shop at Rogue Duty Free and Vendôme, and in St. Maarten, Vanity First carries the brand.
The new locations join the already 1660 points of sale in 17 countries around the world. No reason has been given for the exclusion of Jamaica at press time but Rihanna’s manager and shareholder in Fenty Beauty Jay Brown is of Jamaican descent according to one source close to the matter.
According to the LVMH website, “Fenty Beauty by Rihanna was created for everyone: for women of all shades, personalities, attitudes, cultures, and races. I wanted everyone to feel included. That’s the real reason I made this line.”
