Prominent Jamaican entrepreneur and artist manager Romeich Major has publicly apologized for his involvement in a physical altercation at his artist and dancer Rebel’s birthday party on Saturday night at the national stadium car park. The incident captured on video, which reportedly caused harm to popular TikToker TJ Thuglife and his girlfriend Moya, has sparked widespread condemnation of the music impresario on social media.
In his apology, shared via his Instagram and TikTok accounts, Romeich took full responsibility for the incident, expressing deep regret and acknowledging the harm caused to those involved.
“There is no justification for my actions. I acted out of poor judgment, and I deeply regret the pain and damage I have caused to TJ and Moya, their loved ones, and the community at large. Violence or harm of any kind is never acceptable, and I am ashamed of my role in this incident,” he wrote.
Romeich further apologized to his professional partners, noting the potential damage the incident may have caused to his collaborations. He assured them and the public of his commitment to restoring trust and upholding the values that have shaped his career.
The apology outlined steps Romeich plans to take to make amends, including cooperating with any investigations or legal proceedings and actively promoting nonviolence within the community.
“I understand that words alone cannot undo the harm caused, but I am committed to demonstrating my remorse through meaningful actions and accountability,” he said.
Romeich concluded his statement by humbly seeking forgiveness and vowing to ensure such actions are never repeated.

Repost from @romeichentertainment
I want to address a deeply regrettable and unacceptable situation for which I take full responsibility. Early Saturday morning after Rebel’s event, I was involved in actions that caused harm to TikToker #tj_thuglife and his girlfriend #moya. There is no justification for my actions. I acted out of poor judgment, and I deeply regret the pain and damage I have caused to TJ and Moya, their loved ones, and the community at large. Violence or harm of any kind is never acceptable, and I am ashamed of my role in this incident.
I apologize unreservedly. No one deserves this, and I will do everything in my power to make amends. I am committed to taking responsibility for my actions and ensuring that nothing like this ever happens again.
I also want to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize to all the amazing partners I work with for the impact this situation may have had on our collaborations. I remain committed to upholding the values and integrity that our partnerships represent, and I will work tirelessly to rebuild trust with you and our shared audiences.
I have also begun taking the following steps:
• I am cooperating fully with any investigations or legal proceedings related to this incident.
• I will actively engage in efforts to support and advocate for nonviolence and conflict resolution within the community.I understand that words alone cannot undo the harm caused, but I am committed to demonstrating my remorse through meaningful actions and accountability. I hope to regain the trust I have lost, though I know this will take time and consistent effort.
Again, I am deeply sorry for the pain I have caused. I humbly ask for forgiveness and the opportunity to make things right.
The apology has garnered mixed reactions online, with some praising Romeich for taking accountability, while others continue to express disappointment over the incident saying it is a fake apology.
