Former friend and affiliate of Rvssian and his Head Concussion Records, Crime Minister, tells the producer don’t bite the hand that feed him after Rvssian called him a “hype man,” a snake tells him to deliver his Amazon package. In the ongoing controversies surrounding Rvssian’s appearance on the Let’s Be Honest podcast, where he discussed the early days in the music business and mentioned Crime Minister, aka Consie, as a “hype man,” saying he wasn’t involved in the production of music.
In response, Crime Minister posted screenshots of unopened Instagram messages from Rvssian on Instagram Stories, questioning the producer’s intentions after being labeled a “hype man.”
Crime Minister aired his grievances in several videos on his Stories, accusing Rvssian of not providing assistance over the years but choosing an interview to belittle his efforts in helping him succeed in the streets over the years.
“…You’ve earned millions, and you couldn’t even throw $100,000 my way in the 14 years of your life where you helped me become Rvssian,” Crime Minister stated.
He argued that his contributions to Rvssian’s development had taken a toll on him and, now employed at Amazon, expected a more lavish lifestyle with private jets as is the case with the Krippy Kush producer.
DJ Creep Chromatic posted an image with himself, Rvssian and Crime Minster captioning it “simpler times.”
Rvssian responded by downplaying the contributions Crime Minister made to his artistic development and labelled him as entitled, revealing that he severed ties with him a decade ago and labelled him as a snake who tried to rob him. Rvssian alleged that Crime Minister attempted to persuade an artist under his Rich Immigrants label to steal his Amex credit card. Rvssian also questioned Crime Minister’s entitlement to his money, reminding him that he provided the opportunity to make money through beats.
“You was my manager? Or you made by beats? You can’t even make beats. I Made you a Beat and said go make money. You forgot? Go make one now then Mr producer. Anyway when you done. Make sure my Amazon package is delivered,” Rvssian commented.
That statement caused outrage on Twitter as several person did not take it lightly that the millionaire producer was job shaming his former friend. @trenahh from Miami tweeted Rvssian saying, “We nuh tolerate job shaming @Rvssian yuh could a say all weh yuh say and lef day out.”

Rvssian responded to her saying,” It wasn’t that serious hunny don’t try twist narrative. He diss me and said he made me. So all is fair in love and war.”

The dispute continued as Crime Minister addressed Rvssian in a live stream, adding another layer to the ongoing exchange between the two and expressing hurt.
In the Instagram Live, Consie revealed that Rvssian real name Tariq Johnston, comes from a family that has been part of the lucrative St. Mary Banana Chips company for almost 100 years. The company was co-founded in 1929 by Charles E. Johnston, and then later chaired by Rvssian’s uncle Charles H. Johnston from 1986.
Consie acknowledges that despite Rvssian’s father, Michael Johnston, not providing him with any special treatment, Rvssian, despite his affluent background, never extended an invitation for Consie to visit the Johnston family home. It was Consie who invited Rvssian to his less affluent family home for dinner.
“Me never have dinner a Rvssian yard yet but him come a my yard come eat food, unuh can pre the difference of how tings to, you weren’t even allowed to pass the man gate. You don’t just get up and diss a man like me for what? How will my fan base feel…I am a tief Rvssian, c’mon bro?” Crime Minister said.
“I am appalled at his comments, this was once a youth I looked up to like a big brother…him style me and me feel a way.”
