Sean Paul Amasses Over 1,500 Cumulative Weeks Across Billboard’s Hot 100, Reggae and 200 albums Charts

Sean Paul’s has now cumulative spent a total of 1,521 chart-weeks across Billboard’s Hot 100, Billboard 200 ane Billboard Reggae Albums Charts. The most for any dancehall artist in history, according to Billboard chart dat obtained by World Music Views. His closest dancehall rival is Shaggy, who has amassed 1,186 cumulative chart-weeks across the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard 200 and Billboard Reggae chart.

On the Hot 100 chart, Sean Paul has charted 19 songs with 422 combined weeks as a lead or featured artist. The most for any Jamaican artist in history. 

Those 19 Hot 100 entries produced 10 Top 10 hits and four No. 1 hits.

His four Hot 100 chart-toppers were “Cheap Thrills” with Sia, “Get Busy,” “Temperature,” and Beyoncé’s “Baby Boy,” featuring Sean Paul.

“Cheap Thrills” was the longest-charting Hot 100 entry in the supplied data at 52 weeks, followed by “Gimme the Light” with 39 weeks, “Get Busy” with 32, and “Temperature” with 31.

The biggest contributor is Dutty Rock, with an extraordinary 333 weeks. It is followed by Dutty Classics Collection at 275 weeks and The Trinity at 178 weeks.
