Sean Paul‘s Dubai concert back on for December 30, 2023. The event which will be held at the Coca-Cola Arena was originally scheduled for October 21 and joining Sean on the stage for the festive season event will be Atlanta rapper T.I.
The postponement was originally thought to be due to the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine, but several events have since happened in the region uninterrupted over the last month including the Heavyweight fight in Saudi Arabia between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury.
A post from the Coca-Cola Arena’s Instagram account had promised to “ work closely with the authorities, promoters and artist management to secure new dates.”
The now deleted post also stated that “Tickets purchased for the original dates will remain valid and further information on ticket transfer policy and refund options will be shared imminently.”
Up to two days ago fans were lamenting the lack of communication on where to get their refund and if the show will be held. One comment stated: “We are still waiting for updates what’s going on with you.” Another said, ‘Still waiting for the refund and no answers at all….’
Tickets are still available for the 20,000 capacity venue for AED $250 to AED $600. All the AED $150 tickets are sold out.
