Sean Paul to perform at Coca Cola Arena In Dubai

As Temperatures cool off in the Middle East, Dancehall Superstar Sean Paul is set to bring the heat as the headliner at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on October 21. The event is being presented by Producers & Tour Management Company Blu Bloods with the support of Dubai Calendar.

The Coca-Cola arena seats 17,000 people and Grammy winning Jamaican artist’s performance in October will be his first time in the iconic UAE entertainment venue.

No stranger to the Middle East, last December, Sean performed 2 concerts in Qatar at the FIFA volunteer concert and fan zone for over 20,000 people.

In December, World Music Views reported that the superstar’s sophomore album “Dutty Rock” became certified triple Platinum in the US by the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA).

The album peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart and and joins two time Grammy winner Shaggy’s Hot Shot as the only two albums by Jamaicans released this century to be certified triple Platinum by the RIAA.

Sean was nominated for Best Reggae Album at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Dutty Rock debuted at number 26 on the US Billboard 200, selling 65,000 copies in its first week and  eventually peaking at number 9 on the chart as well as number 2 on the UK Albums Chart and topping the Canadian Albums Chart. Track 7 “Top of the Game” featuring Rahzel was featured in NBA Live 2004.

Baby Boy“, a late entry collaboration with Beyoncé became one of the biggest hits of 2003, topping the Billboard Hot 100, spending nine weeks at number one giving the album a boost to sell over 6 million copies worldwide by the end of 2003

No other act has taken dancehall music to the heights that Sean Paul took it 94 music certifications globally. Additionally he has the most US Billboard hits, Canadian Hits, U.K. hits, more Spotify hits, and more YouTube hits than anyone in dancehall music.

He is one of the most watched artists on YouTube with an average of 1.5 million streams per day on both songs/videos as lead artist as well as his features.
