Sean Paul’s “I’m Still In Love With You” (Ft. Sasha) Certified Gold in the UK

Sean Paul’s classic reggae fusion track “I’m Still In Love With You” has reached another milestone, being certified Gold in the UK by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for surpassing 400,000 combined sales and streams. This achievement, was awarded on October 25, 2024.

The official music video, directed by the acclaimed Director X, also hit a significant milestone last year, surpassing 400 million views on YouTube as of October 23, 2023. This marks Sean Paul’s fourth video as a lead artist to reach this view count and Sasha’s first-ever entry into the 500-million-view club, a significant moment for the featured artist.

“I’m Still In Love With You” was released on October 3, 2003, as part of Sean Paul’s Grammy-winning album Dutty Rock, under VP Records and Atlantic Records. The track, produced by Steely and Clevie, along with Murray Elias, is an interpolation of the 1967 Jamaican hit of the same name by Alton Ellis. The song achieved impressive chart success, peaking at No. 6 on the UK Singles Chart and reaching No. 14 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The song has also accumulated over 200 million streams on Spotify, underscoring its enduring popularity worldwide.
