It is the most successful song on the riddim having peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 the week of April 1, 2006 for one week. Temperature was Sean Paul’s third and biggest No. 1 single on the Hot 100 after spending 17 weeks on the top ten and spent 30 weeks on the chart in total. The song also peaked at No. 1 on the European Hot 100 chart.
