The Trinity, Dancehall King Sean Paul’s third studio album has re-entered the Billboard Reggae Albums chart this week at No. 3. Its one of the highest re-entries on recent times. The album released by Atlantic Records on September 27, 2005 spawns the single “We Be Burnin’,” which was accompanied by a music video directed by Jessy Terrero. The song and video premiered on various platforms including BET and MTV and the album debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200, after selling over 107,000 copies in its first week.
The album is currently certified platinum in Europe and in the US by the RIAA.. The album also sold 4 million copies worldwide. An expanded two-CD edition was released in the UK where it is certified Gold which included extra tracks; “Cry Baby Cry” and “Break It Off.”
Last year “The Trinity” joined a school of Sean Paul albums to came in at No. 14 on Billboard’s Year End Reggae Chart. His Dutty Classics Collection came in at No. 3, the triple Platinum set Dutty Rock at No. 7, and Mad Love: The Prequel came in at No. 10.

Meanwhile at the top of the chart is Legend: The Best Of Bob Marley & The Wailers extending its lead for 158 weeks. Best Of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection moves up one spot to No. 2, UB40’s Greatest Hits moves down to No. 5, Stick Figure takes No. 6, 7, and 8 with Wisdom, World On Fire, and Set in Stone respectively.
Gifted by Koffee moves to No. 9 and Outside by Burna Boy moves to No. 10.
