2 time Grammy Award-winning reggae legend, Shaggy, has unveiled his exclusive year-round SiriusXM channel, aptly named “Shaggy’s Boombastic Radio.” The channel promises to be a melodic haven, featuring Shaggy’s personal selection of reggae, dancehall, and afrobeats hits.
“Shaggy’s Boombastic Radio,” on channel 332 for car subscribers and accessible via the SiriusXM app, is set to enchant listeners with a curated collection that encapsulates the essence of reggae, dancehall, and the pulsating beats of afrobeats. Siriusxm Radio, founded in 2008 is a leading North American satellite radio nework with over 34 million subscribers and reaching a combined monthly audience of approximately 150 million listeners.
Listeners will be treated to an eclectic mix ranging from the iconic rhythms of Shaggy himself, Sean Paul, Lady Saw to the dynamic sounds of Wizkid and Burna Boy and many more upcoming stars.
The channel was announced as part of SiriusXM’s Next Generation & Industry Preview event in New York on November 8 where the company launched a new logo.

Shaggy’s new channel will also feature exclusive programming according to a release, including the debut of Shaggy and Sting’s electrifying live performance from their inaugural One Fine Day Festival. Recorded at the Mann Center in Philadelphia, this performance promises to be a musical feast and will be aired over the Thanksgiving weekend, allowing fans to revel in the magic of the iconic duo.
The company also launched a merchandise store offering limited releases of host favorites and signed items.
For avid fans of “Shaggy’s Yaad,” his previous SiriusXM’s FLY program that is currently entering its third year, the show will now become a regular feature on “Shaggy’s Boombastic Radio” hosted by Shaggy himself.
