“She Doesn’t Mind” Becomes Sean Paul’s First Solo Song To Surpass 500 Million Views On YouTube

Sean Paul got his first solo music video across the 500 million mark on YouTube last Wednesday.

 

The single “She Doesn’t Mind” written by Sean Paul, Shellback and Benny Blanco was released on NRJ & Skyrock (French radios) on 29 September 2011 and iTunes followed suit one month later. It gained a promotional boost with the release of its accompanying U.S. mainstream radio version in January 2012, before ultimately charting at numberone in Switzerland and peaking in the top ten for Austria, France, Germany Israel Norway Republic of Ireland Romania and charts in the U.K. Singles chart.

Additionally it got included in the European edition of thr video game Grand Slam Tennis by EA Sports. Following up on the initial success of the track, American rapper Pitbull voiced official remix toShe Doesn‘t Mind“.

Sean Paul and Pitbull were being advertised as headliners of the “Can’t Stop Us Now” Tour last fall. The two hitmakers were scheduled to perform 2 shows in Las Vegas at the Zappos Theater at PLANET HOLLYWOOD RESORT AND CASINO on September 16 and 17.

However, Sean Paul’s appearance on the Pitbull tour was cancelled according to Sean’s booking agent and management team.

No reason was given for the cancellation except Sean Paul’s Manager Steve Urchin also told World Music Views exclusively that, “There is a lot of mutual respect between Sean & Pitbull – our camps have always been supportive of one another and it’s unfortunate we couldn’t join Pit on this tour.”

Meanwhile “She Doesn’t Mind” is certified 2x Platinum in Switzerland(60,000), Platinum in the U.K. (600,000), Canada (80,000), Austria (30,000) Denmark (1,800,000,000 streams), 3x Gold in Germany (450,000), Gold in Italy (35,000)
