Dancehall star Shenseea was sitting court side at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles for the 2024-25 NBA season kicked off.
The Jiggle Jiggle artist witnessed in person the historic moment as the Los Angeles Lakers, one of the league’s most storied franchises, secured impressive a win on opening night.
Shenseea shared highlights of her night out on Instagram stating her allegiance to the Lenten James lead home team saying, “course they’ll win if I’m courtside.”
The Lakers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 110-103 and the highlight of the night was the debut of Bronny James, playing alongside his father, LeBron James, for the first time. The father-son duo checked in together in the second quarter, marking a milestone moment, though Bronny went scoreless in his brief three minutes on the court.
Anthony Davis was the standout performer for the Lakers, delivering a stellar 36-point, 16-rebound effort. His dominant play led to MVP chants from the home crowd. LeBron contributed with eight points, while rookie Dalton Knecht added five points off the bench.
For Minnesota, Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 27 points and six rebounds. The team, playing their first game without Karl-Anthony Towns after his trade, struggled to find rhythm. New acquisition Julius Randle scored 16 points but couldn’t lift Minnesota over a determined Lakers squad.
