CEO of We Good LLC, Donny “Dizzy Cleanface” Flores, and co-manager to dancehall singer Shenseea speaking with World Music Views exclusively said the reason for his outburst on Instagram has since been resolved.
He said, “(I) Just take it down, we fixed everything.” He also said the whole situation was a “Misunderstanding everything, (is) We good.”
It’s is not fully clear what he “fixed” or what the “misunderstanding” or real issues were that caused Shenseea to be left off the Downtown superstar Anitta’s album, but earlier on Friday the music A&R came out guns blazing at record producer Dr. Luke. Dizzy alleged that he didn’t want Shenseea to feature on a track from Anitta’s newly released Version Of Me (Deluxe).
In the comment section rapper-producer LunchMoney, who co-wrote the track in question, described Dizzy Cleanface as “unprofessional and corny” for speaking in public about the alleged ‘misunderstanding.’
“I’m on the song and that’s not why it didn’t come out … let’s be professional,” LunchMoney wrote.
That was in response to Dizzy apologizing to fans saying it was Dr. Luke who didn’t want the Shenyeng singer on the song. “Sorry to @shenseea fans that she was not on the album, @thedoctorluke @rxsongs did not want her on the song,” Dizzy posted before deleting.
Shenseea was seen with Anitta at Coachella in April backstage and again at the Billboard Music Awards.
Anitta’s Versions Of Me deluxe album features 20 tracks in total including five new tracks. It has features from Cardi B, Nicki Jam, Ty Dolla Sign, Missy Elliot, Saweetie and more.
