Shenseea’s “Never Gets Late Here” Spends Second Week On Billboard, Drops “Loyalty” Visualizer

Dancehall artist Shenseea’s second studio album, “Never Gets Late Here,” spent a second week on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, slipping to #8. The album, released on May 24, has earned 21 million Spotify streams globally over its lifetime.

The highest-streamed single not previously released on the album is “Work Me Out,” featuring Wizkid. However, on Tuesday (June 11), Shenseea released the visualizer for “Loyalty” from the album, dressed in a red suit and holding the masculine body of a mannequin. The video is directed by Shane Creative, and the song is produced by Romeich Major.

The visuals are presented as a continuation of Hit& Run featuring Masicka and Di Genius. The Interscope Records artist teased a snippet on Instagram saying, “Loyalty” ..fi di gyal dem weh nah Hit&Run.”

Following the success of her album, the Toronto leg of her “Never Gets Late Here Tour” set for August 19 is sold out with limited tickets available for several of the remaining 15 dates.

Last night fans noted that Shensee’s Rebel was being played at Rihanna’s meet and greet in for her Fenty Hair line of products in Los Angeles. Shenseea herself told WMV that she fully intends to enter the world of fashion soon like the Fenty Beauty Queen.

Back on the Billboard Chart Legend The Best Of Bob Marley & The Wailers extends its lead at 229 weeks at No.1. Dutty Classics Collection by Sean Paul is at No. 2, Best Of Shaggy: Boombastic Collection at No. 3.

Stick Figure’s World On Fire, Set In Stone and Wisdom are at No. 4, 5 and 7 respectively.

Greatest Hits by UB40 is at No. 6 while Rastaman Vibration by Bob Marley and the Wailers and Welcome To Jamrock re-enter at No. 9 and 10.
