On Jamaica’s YouTube chart this week Ending January 15, skippa’s “WYFL” refusing to budge in its 8th week on the ranking. The track logs 405K streams, even with a slight dip (-12K), and extends its reign at No. 1 for a fifth nonconsecutive week — the kind of staying power that separates a moment from a movement.

Overall Skippa commodes 20% of the streams in the top 20 or 700,737 streams from 3 songs: WYFL, No Budget, Currency)

At No. 2, Chronic Law’s “Badness Upgrade 2.0” remains locked in place as well, pulling in 270K streams in week six. While the numbers cool slightly, the song continues to play like a staple across the island’s daily YouTube habits.

One of the biggest stories in the Top 5 remains Jamal’s “Faada” feat. Rich Pree, which holds No. 3 and posts a meaningful gain (+15K) for 263K streams. Twelve weeks in, the track still feels like it has gas left in the tank.

The week’s highest debut belongs to Alkaline, launching “No Emotions” at No. 4 with a strong 235,980 opening frame. The entry shows immediate traction and positions Alkaline as a key chart disruptor heading into the new year.

Just behind, Rayvon’s “Ponie” with Sugar Bear makes a big leap, surging 3 spots to No. 5 with 205K streams and one of the strongest gains of the week (+33K). It it Rayvon’s highest charing single showing early signs of replay value.

Another notable newcomer comes from Malie Donn, who enters at No. 6 with “Reboot” (172K). Even more impressive: Malie Donn is also holding “Adios” at No. 12, giving him two songs in the Top 15 and reinforcing his consistency as one of the most visible acts on the platform right now.

Meanwhile, skippa’s “No Budget” slips to No. 7 (-2) after peaking at No. 5, but still banks 170K streams, keeping skippa as the week’s most dominant artist overall with multiple titles on the chart.

In the middle of the list, Valiant’s “Passport Princess” is the week’s breakout riser, jumping +4 spots to No. 9 with a loud +43,944 gain — the biggest increase in the Top 10. If momentum holds, this one could be next in line for top-tier placement.

Elsewhere, the chart welcomes several fresh entries: Merkz’s “Diamonds” opens at No. 10, while Chingboss’ “Transport” rockets up to No. 11 with a huge +34K bump, suggesting the track is catching fire rapidly.

Down the stretch, Popcaan returns with presence as “Billionaire Status” enters at No. 15 (131K) — a clean first-week showing that hints at upward mobility. The lower tier also sees new arrivals from Nigy Boy (“Risk It All”), Squash (“Guns”), and even Machel Montano (“Encore”), adding variety to the week’s Top 20 landscape.

Closing things out, Feloni19’s “Check Mi Out” slides to No. 20, but remains stable in total pull (114K) — showing enough audience retention to keep it afloat for a third week.
