Spice’s ‘Emancipation’ Exits, Damian Marley’s ‘Welcome To Jamrock’ Re-Enters Billboard Reggae Chart

Spice’s sophomore album ‘Emancipated’ has exited the Billboard Reggae Album Chart this week after spending one week at no. 7. The album sold 700 copies and streamed 1.1 Million in the U.S in its first week. Overall consumption was 1500 units according to data provided to World Music Views by Luminate.

Emancipated also exited the Reggae iTunes chart after peaking at no. 1.

Bob Marley

Best of albums from Bob Marley, Shaggy, Sean Paul and UB40 secured the top 4 spots on the chart respectively. While Stick Figures’ World On Fire lands at no. 5.

Gifted by Koffee moves on places up to no. 6, Burna Boy’s Outside achieving a new peak on the chart also moved up one place to no 8.

Iration

Iration’s Time Bomb and Damian Marley Welcome To Jamrock both re-entered the chart this week at no. 9 and 10 respectively. Time Bomb previously peaked at no. 2.

Welcome to Jamrock had album debuted no. 7 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and peaked at no. 1 on the reggae chart. The album sold 86,000 copies in its first week and has since been certified gold in the United States for sales exceeding 500,000 copies, gold in Canada for 50,000 in sales, and gold in the United Kingdom for 100,000 in sales.
