For the week ending August 29, 2024, Squash dominates YouTube Jamaica’s charts with two tracks in the top three. His song Shubout is at #1 with 223,023 streams, despite a slight decline in views. Substannzz’s Waan Rich climbs to #2, amassing 197,832 streams and continuing its upward momentum. Squash also surges to #3 with All Now, which saw a significant increase in streams, reflecting his strong presence. Newcomer Ai Milly debuts at #4 with Bob Cat, while Skippa’s Young drops to #5. Kranium’s Higher Life remains stable at #6, and Skippa’s Hugo climbs to #7. Squash’s Big Breeze slips to #8 after 19 weeks on the chart, while Kraff Gad’s 100 Watt and Infidel round out the top 10, holding steady at #9 and #10 respectively.

On Apple Music, rising dancehall star Stalk Ashley’s debut album, Stalky The Bratt, spends 5 days at number one in Jamaica on Apple Music. The 11 track set released by Stalk Ashley Music also peaked at No. 1 on the Cayman Islands and Guyana.

Ahead of the album’s August 30 album release, she dropped the single “Brixx,” produced by Jaxx and Anjublaxx.

The singer shared an emotional post on Instagram to announced her debut effort saying, “This is what blood sweat and tears look like.”

Elsewhere on the Apple Music albums chart Jamaica Masicka’s Generation of Kings remains strong at #2, solidifying his place as the second longest running album in the top 10 in Jamaica. Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet brings pop energy to the Jamaican charts at #3. That album debuts at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart. While Gunna climbs to #4 in Jamaica with One of Wun. Billie Eilish’s album HIT ME HARD AND SOFT slips to #5, still resonating with fans. Fridayy’s self-titled album jumps to #6, gaining traction, while Govana’s Legacy holds steady at #7. Masicka reappears at #8 with 438, showing his continued influence. Eddy G Bomba’s Jumanji Book climbs to #9, and Zagga’s Energy Never Lie rounds out the top 10 at #10.
