“Take It Easy” Ends Collie Buddz’ No. 1 Streak On U.S. Billboard Reggae Albums Chart

Reggae artist Collie Buddz‘ fourth studio album “Take It Easy” debuts at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard Reggae albums chart ending his three consecutive No. 1 solo album streak. The album released September 29, 2023 via Harper Digital sold 800 album equivalent units according to Billboard. The project consists of 12 songs with features from Bounty Killer, B-Real (Cypress Hill), Demarco, Danny Towers, and Keznamdi.

Collie Buddz’ Manager Igor Katz told WMV the it was 1270 copies that were sold overall including bundles which were not counted by Billboard. “1270 was the actual sales not counted (by Billboard) because we did bundles (which we knew would not count because of new rules) But Buddz was very adamant about hooking up the fans vs higher chart placement. He’s really the man.” The album officially recorded 359 pure copies in its first week according to Billboard’s count.
