Taylor Swift‘s “All’s fair In love and poetry” is #1 and #2 on iTunes music video chart and it has no audio. The 8-second “video” is a pre-order bonus for her forthcoming album “The Tortured Poets Department” on Apple Music but it has no sound, just an image with lyrics.
It is not known whether this silent video is deliberately released to make the charts but it is the second time Swift is releasing a silent 8 second audio clip on iTunes. The first time was during the released of her with studio album 1989 (2014), when an audio clip of static noises released instead of the real song.
“The Tortured Poets Department” is Taylor Swift’s upcoming eleventh studio album set for release on April 19, 2024, through Republic Records. Swift announced the album at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards after winning Best Pop Vocal Album for her previous work, “Midnights.” She describes the album as a vital expression of her songwriting, developed during her Eras Tour. Swift’s announcement was marked by social media clues and cryptic messages. The album’s conception was influenced by her need for songwriting, with Jack Antonoff rumored as a producer. The title and artwork, shot by Beth Garrabrant, sparked grammatical debates and widespread parodies.
On February 6, 2024, Swift unveiled the tracklist for the album on social media, with announced collaborations with Post Malone and Florence and the Machine.
