Teyana Taylor earns new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced on June 4, 2025.
“Do Not Disturb” Goes Gold
The sensual collaboration “Do Not Disturb” featuring Chris Brown, originally released on October 28, 2014, has officially gone Gold, signifying over 500,000 digital units sold. Released under G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam Recordings, the track is a staple of sultry 2010s R&B and finally gets its deserved recognition in 2025.
“Issues/Hold On” Reaches Platinum Status
One of Taylor’s standout singles, “Issues/Hold On,” has reached Platinum status, marking over 1 million digital units sold. Released on July 28, 2009, the track had previously gone Gold in December 2020 and now joins her list of million-selling singles.
Two Albums Certified Gold
Taylor’s critically acclaimed 2018 album K.T.S.E. (Keep That Same Energy), produced by Kanye West, has achieved Gold certification. With standout tracks like “Gonna Love Me” and “Rose in Harlem,” the album’s influence continues to grow.
