“Thee Person,” by Pardi Fontain, the ex-boyfriend to Shenseea’s “Lick” collaborator Megan Thee Stallion, responds directly to accusations made by Megan in her liberation track “Cobra” that someone (her ex) had another woman in the same bed they slept on.
Fontaine who was seen hanging out at parties with Jamaican dancehall artist Jada Kingdom, Shenseea’s former friend, found both him and Jada under scrutiny from Megan’s “hotties” fanbase after Megan’s song dropped last week. “Cobra” debuted at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100. The music video has surpassed 10 million views on YouTube.
While Pardi’s song “Thee Stallion” is trending No. 4 in the US on YouTube and it dismisses the allegations suggested in “Cobra”; as he directly makes claims that accuses Megan of infidelity, fabricating stories on television with Gayle King, and undergoing liposuction but posting gym pictures to give an impression of her working out.
Defending his relationship with Jada Kingdom, Fontaine brags, “Damn see me with Jada Kingdom and then you went Jada Pinkett.” Throughout the song, he paints a narrative of Megan misrepresenting here and their past, addressing her claims with verses like, “Talking about me and some dame like I was just out here doing my thing. The way that you’re painting this picture is a shame … You did you first, I just did me bigger.”
Pardi reveals intimate details, stating, “How many times did I catch you texting them n***as? …You flew out the country ain’t called for days; in my mind, we had parted ways.” Fontaine also hints at a wanting to propose to Megan and even bought a ring.
Ahead of the song’s release Jada tweeted,
“He just want a foreign girl ThatsIt,” with images of the night she and Pardi went out.
“Thee Person,” has caused Jada to be too top trending in the US and No. 1 trending in Jamaica with fans from both countries praising as well as defending Fontaine’s candid take on the situation.
Not seeming to be able to stand the pubic pressure, Jada later made a follow up tweet asking for persons to “release her.”
“Lying on my name still is crazy… it’s tired now, release me.”
