Burna Boy Live – Love, Damini Tour Jamaica Tickets Available Now

World Music Views first reported that Burna Boy will be performing at the National Stadium in Kingston, on Sunday December 18.

Tickets are now on sale for one of Jamaica’s most anticipated events with prices ranging from USD$55 for tier 1 early general tickets to USD$323 for VVIP.

The national Stadium has a seating capacity of 27,000 whenever there are sporting events but when Buju Banton held his Long Walk To Freedom concert in 2019, more than 50,000 packed the venue.

Burna is scheduled to do three shows over three days in three different islands that weekend with the last stop in Jamaica.

He posted a date for the Trinidad show on Thursday with the caption “finally”.

Word began to buzz in the industry about the Nigerian superstar whose “Last Last” hit was must play at every sumner party coming to Jamaica from as far back as August.

There has been several posts on social media about the possibility of the Grammy winner performing in Jamaica for Christmas from as far back as August.

Burna Boy who is the grandson of Benson Idonije, the manager to afrobeat pioneer Fela Kute performed to a sold out Madison Square Garden in April.

With over 20 thousand strong in the New York City venue he performed his Afro-fusion hits for two nights back to back at his “One Night In Space” concert. The event was also live streamed on YouTube for millions of people around the world.

He is the first African solo headliner to sell out Madison Square Garden, let alone two shows. He follows the footsteps of Afropop singer Miriam Makeba who performed at Madison Square Garden for JFK’s birthday celebration in 1967.

Since then he has performed at several sold out shows around the world.

Burna Boy will be the first African to headline a main event at Jamaica’s National Stadium since Nelson Mandela’s historic 24 hour visit on July 24, 1991, where scores of Jamaicans came out to see the freedom fighter.

Tickets for Burna Boy’s Love, Damini concert in Kingston may be purchase at Firstinlineja.com.
