Bounty Killer and Cham’s “Time Bomb” EP Sales Are In

Bounty Killer and Cham’s collaborative EP “Time Bomb” did not debut on the US Billboard Reggae chart after selling 100 units in streams and sales during its first week according to data received by WMV from Luminate.

The EP which features Idris Elba on “Badman Ting” and Dexta Daps on “Slow Motion” peaked at No. 2 on the U.S. iTunes Reggae chart and charted on Apple Music at No. 13 British Virgin Islands, #13 Jamaica, #59 Trinidad and Tobago, #77 Bermuda, #79 Cayman Islands, #84 Saint Kitts and Nevis. On iTunes: it’s No, %4 Bermuda and No. 12 in Austria.

On Tuesday the Dave Kelly produced project charted at No. 26 in Jamaica on Apple Music Daily Albums chart.

Cham’s greatest solo project success in the US was with his last album Ghetto Story which debuted on the Billboard 200 albums chart  on September 9, 2006 at No. 53. It was lead by the single Ghetto Story Chapter 2 featuring Alicia Keys which peaked September 16 at No 15 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Chart.

Bounty Killer has released 13 albums since 1994, with most of them on VP Records, Greensleeves, and TVT Records. His most successful album in the U.S. according to data provided by Luminate are “My Xperience,”  (VP Records/TVT Records), selling a total of 154,000 units in the U.S., including 141,000 pure copies and 17 million on-demand streams as of March 10, 2022. The album stayed at No. 1 for 16 weeks in 1996 on the Billboard Reggae Albums and Next Millennium which stayed at No. 1 for 6 weeks in 1998

This album reached No. 145 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, spent 6 months on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart (peaking at No. 1), and also reached No. 27 on the U.S. Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums Chart and No. 6 on the US Heatseekers chart.

His second most successful album is “Next Millennium,” released in 1998 on VP Records/TVT Records, which has accumulated 78,000 units in the U.S., including 75,000 pure sales and 9 million on-demand streams. The single “Deadly Zone” featuring Mobb Deep and Big Noyd from this album was featured in the Blade Motion Picture Soundtrack.

“Nah No Mercy – The Warlord Scrolls,” released in 2006 by VP Records, is his 13th solo album, having sold 46,000 units in the U.S., comprising 10,000 pure copies and 54.4 million on-demand streams.

Bounty Killer’s “Ghetto Dictionary” series, consisting of “The Mystery” and “The Art of War,” both released in 2002 on VP Records, has sold 3,000 units each. “The Mystery” has earned 3.3 million streams, while “The Art of War” has recorded 4.5 million streams.

5th Element in 1999, Ghetto Dictionary: The Art Of War in 2002 debuted at No. 2, Ghetto Dictionary: The Mystery peaked at No. 5, Ghetto Gramma’ peaked at No. 12 and his lowest charting album was 2006 Nah No Mercy: The Warlord Scrolls which peaked at No. 15.
