Dancehall DJ Tommy Lee Sparta has been released after being sentence to 3 years in prison according to initial reports from Onstage TV.
Lee who has had several infractions with the law, was arrested in Kingston Jamaica in December 2020 and pleaded guilty to possession of firearm.
Last November he posted an excerpt from a speech by Prime Minister Andrew Holness in which he berated criminals and Lee endorsed the speech stating that, “unno put up the gun them an Mek we full joy life happiness come first Mek me say this first I FORGIVE MY ENEMIES me want unno tag.”

Tommy Le is coming home to his Protocol collar with Skeng being the most streamed song in Jamaica on YouTube of all time.
Overall the music video has surpassed 50 million views and the song peaked at No. 1 on The World Music Views YouTube Charts spending 27 weeks on the YouTube weekly chart. In Jamaica alone the TrueEyez directed music video which was shot in New York while Lee was locked up has racked up more than 15 million streams on YouTube alone.
Following the success of Protocol they retuned with Protocol Part 2 which has surpassed 2 million YouTube views.
The songs drew the attention of Nicky Minaj who recruited Skeng for single “Likkle Miss Remix” and “Likkle Miss Fine Nine Remix.”
Minaj called the 1st Class produced Protocol the baddest song she heard in a while and gave a solid endorsement to the dancehall newcomer Skeng.

The video for the Jamaican chart topper, directed by The Trueyez Films features prominently a NYPD patrol car in the streets of New York City, where Skeng and his crew flex lyrics matching gun talk and gun showing.
