Scheduled for release on Oct. 31, In Her Words will give Megan’s fans an intimate look at Megan Pete, the woman behind the stage persona. This documentary promises to reveal the highs and lows of her rise to fame, offering a raw portrayal of her struggles and triumphs.
The film also delves into the personal pain Megan endured following the loss of her mother in 2019, which left her grappling with feelings of aimlessness. It further explores the aftermath of the 2020 Tory Lanez shooting, which resulted in Lanez’s conviction and 10-year sentence in August 2023. Megan reflects on these challenges in the documentary, stating, “I want people to understand how this is affecting me. I want people to see how I feel.”
