Triple Matrix has scored his first No. 1 on the US Reggae iTunes Music Video chart with “Hussle Hard,” from his debut EP, ‘Three.’
He becomes one of the youngest independent artists to score a No. 1 on the chart.
Released through his independent imprint, Matrix Records, “Hussle Hard” introduces the artiste’s message of ambition, determination and working relentlessly toward success. Triple Matrix, whose given name is Nicholas Hamilton, is credited as the composer, while Matrix Records is listed as the label behind the 2026 release. Directed by LagikSupreme and filmed in Half Way Tree, Jamaica, the official music video captures the everyday energy of one of Kingston’s busiest urban centres.
The streets and unmistakable Jamaican atmosphere provide an authentic setting for a song rooted in perseverance and the drive to succeed.
Three, was created to introduce listeners to his versatility across Dancehall, R&B and Hip Hop. His mother, Dancehall star Spice, proudly announced the milestone to supporters who have watched her son grow over the years, introducing Nicholas publicly in his new role as recording artiste Triple Matrix.
“Besties, for years you’ve watched the growth of my son, but today we’re not only celebrating his birthday, we’re also celebrating the birth of his music career,” Spice wrote.
“Please welcome to the music fraternity, ‘Triple Matrix.’” According to Spice, his stage name carries a deliberate meaning. “Triple” represents the three genres he plans to explore—Dancehall, R&B and Hip Hop—while “Matrix” reflects what she described as “the cycle of the system he’s determined to change.”
