Usain Bolt Says “I am Still Rich”, Popcaan Says He No Longer Trust The Bank & Will Rewrite Lyrics

Popcaan made an appearance at Protoje’s inaugural Lost In Time Festival on Saturday (February 25) and he took time out to set the record straight about his song Bank and God. The OVO Sound artist paused mid set and said,”right now me cyah trust the bank cause the ties Usain money, so hear wah me haffi reconstruct dem lyrics deh”

Popcaan who has criticized Usain for his entry into music as a producer decided to show his support for the world’s fastest man by adding:

“I really cyah trust the bank any more, big up Usain Bolt, there is no way, the legend weh a sprint fi years for Jamaica, money fi go missing and everybody just silent,” the Family said.

“Big up Usain Bolt a whole heap a money him put in as a country youth.”

Usain who has been the victim of a multi-billion dollar fraud with securities firm Stocks & Securities LTD gave the company a ten day ultimatum to repay his more than US$12 million that went missing from his WellJenn holding account. That timeline came to an end on January 27, 2022. Wealth advisor Jean Panton has since been arrested and charge in connected with a larger investigation with the firm.

On January 23rd, the “anything is possible’ star posted words from the Dave Kelly written Bounty Killer song “Anytime”: “Look into my eyes, tell me what you see, can you feel my pain? Am I your enemy?~ BK”

He also posted on January 23rd: “The real ones see through all the PR distractions. #Focus” on the same morning that former CEO of Stock and Securities Zachary Harding said in an interview that he didn’t know that Bolt had an account at the company during his 19 month tenure. 

Harding, who in his previous career was a music producer recorded Beenie Man’s “Who Am I,” also said in an interview on Nationwide 90 fm that he knows Usain Bolt socially but he is not a friend of Bolt. He followed up the interview with two statements via the media distancing himself from the theft which happened at the firm over ten years.

He admits that in taking the job at SSL he inherited many “irregularities”, but he worked to fix them. None of those irregularities were made known to Bolt priory or during his time of investing with the company.

The 100 and 200 meter world record holder was at a dance playing music recently and flatly stand that he is “still rich.”

The Jamaican sprint sensation turned Dancehall music producer Usain Bolt had revealed to WMV that he signed a a lifetime partnership deal with Puma.The revelation was made by his manager Nugent Walker in an exclusive interview with the World Music Views.

According to Celebrity Net-worth, Bolt is worth more than US$90 and makes more than $30 million per year as the greatest sprinter in history.
