Dancehall DJ Valiant is debunking news that he was arrested for outstanding traffic tickets on Tuesday. The artist whose real name Raheem Bowes was “taken into custody on a warrant for outstanding traffic tickets,” according to TVJ news. However, he commented from his official instagram account saying, “kmft bredda me ina me bed a watch games of thrones wtf this @tvjnews get real facts.”
Jus two days ago the deejay was involved in a collision with Jamaica’s Minister Of Health Dr. Christopher Tufton.
Dadrian Gordon of TVJ also tweeted unconfirmed reports, “his license was run as is routine, ad outstanding tickets discovered.”

The health minister who was hit off his bike, posted an image of himself and the Speed Off deejay at the University Hospital just moments after the incident saying he ‘counted himself as lucky.”
Valiant has been having an interesting couple of weeks, on Sunday, hours after the traffic incident, men from Valiant’s Diplomat crew and members his Loyal Gyal collaborator Skeng, got in a scuffle.
It is not clear why the incident happened but in the video both Skeng and Valiant can be seen behind loyalist seemingly enraged.

Valiant released his debut EP “A Gift From Me to You” via Sony Music U.K.’s Epic Records on December 18, 2023. The dancehall artist, who gained fame in November 2022 after a TikTok video featuring his phrase “Kotch E Hat A Lie” went viral in Jamaica.
The EP features production from ZIMI Records/NoworNever (Polygamy), Shynal Music/Dipomat Records (Search), DJ MAC, Curt “Crash Dummy” White (BUDDUM), Attomatic Records, Dan Sky Records (Birkin), and Valiant’s management team, Romeich Entertainment, which produced the track “Set Me Fi.”
On December 16, Sony Music UK celebrated Valiant’s MOBO 2024 nomination for “Best Caribbean Music Act” with a congratulatory post featuring the Jamaican singer.
Valiant’s GodFada is currently has the No. 1 song in Jamaica on Apple Music and his other top ten is Lumbah produced by DJ Mac.
