Vybz Kartel completed his fourth solo arena show in the United States, headlining the Reggae Fest Tour at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena which holds 16,000 people at capacity. The dancehall icon thrilled a packed crowd with two decades of hardcore hits.
Kartel, who performed on tracks, was styled in a red vintage Atlanta Hawks jersey with the number 31, paired with oversized jeans and sunglasses — a look that resonated with both the Atlanta crowd and his signature World Boss aesthetic.
Fans were treated to surprise performances from two of dancehall’s biggest stars — Def Jam artist Masicka and the Queen of Dancehall herself, Spice.
Masicka, now signed to Def Jam, delivered his collaboration with Kartel, “Infrared,” along with his summer anthem “Whites.”
He rocked pastel checkered pants, a sky-blue graphic tee, and diamond chains. The laid-back fit mirrored his rising global presence while remaining rooted in dancehall street style.
Spice, never one to miss a moment to dazzle, stormed the stage in a denim corset bodysuit with gold chain accents and a thong cutout design, showing off her curves and confidence with bold turquoise-blonde hair. Her performance lit up the arena as she dropped hits like “Romping Shop” and “So Mi Like It,” delivering signature raunchy moves that had the crowd roaring.
Other guests performers include Akon and Atlanta rapper 21 Savage.
Kartel’s Atlanta show marked a milestone moment, making him only the second solo dancehall act to headline the State Farm Arena — following Buju Banton’s Overcomer Tour on September 8, 2024.
In attendance was Rohan Bulter, the event planner and artist manager credited with discovering Kartel, who watched his former protégé command one of the biggest stages in American music.
Kartel’s Worl’ Boss Tour continues next weekend in Atlantic City on June 14, as he cements his position as dancehall’s most enduring and electrifying force.
