Vybz Kartel was the biggest winner at the 43rd Annual International Reggae & World Music Awards, taking home a total of seven awards.
His wins included:
- Hon Bob Marley Award for Entertainer of the Year
- Peter Tosh Award for Recording Artist of the Year
- Gregory Isaacs Award for Best Song for “God Is the Greatest”
- Toots Hibbert Award for Best Album/CD for “Heart and Soul”
- Jimmy Cliff Award for Best Crossover Song
- Best Male DJ/Rapper
- Best Caribbean Entertainer
Kartel also shared wins for:
- Best Collaboration Reggae Song for “You Remind Me” alongside DJ Khaled, Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, and Mavado
- Best Music Video for “You Remind Me” with the same powerhouse lineup
Held at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in South Florida, the awards ceremony celebrated the best in reggae, dancehall, afrobeats, soca, gospel, and world music.
Kartel was not present to collect his trophies but in an instagram post he thanked the organizers of the event and his fans.

International dancehall superstar Shenseea secured the award for Best Female DJ/Rapper and following an unprecedented run in 2025, Spice has officially been awarded the 2026 IRAWMA Award for Best Dancehall Stagecraft Entertainer an Marcus Garvey Humanitarian Award.
Masicka won the award for Best EP (Extended Play) Recording with “Her Name is Love,” while DJ Mac won Producer Of The Year.
