Vybz Kartel’s new song “The Comet” is this week’s top song on YouTube Jamaica.

After Trending No. 1 every day this week on YouTube Jamaica, The Comet,  an independent release, becomes another hit in Vybz Kartel’s music catalog as it earned 838,508 local streams in its first week and has surpassed 3.8 million views globally on YouTube in 8 days.

In second place, Jamal’s hit track “Ballandor” climbs up one position to No. 2, with a notable 82,281 stream increase from the previous week, reaching 287,202 total streams. Jamal continues to build momentum with this track, peaking at No. 2 for the second consecutive week.

Areakode’s “Rey”, which previously held the No. 1 spot, drops two places to No. 3 with 235,293 streams. Despite the fall, “Rey” still maintains a strong presence on the charts, boosted by a slight stream increase of 3,717 from the last week.

In fourth place is another new entry: Kraff Gad with his track “IKATION”. The song debuts at No. 4 with 229,791streams, making a solid first appearance. Kraff Gad’s consistency is further emphasized by his other track, “White Rum”, which has been on the charts for 21 weeks and moves up three places to No. 8 this week with 160,036 streams.

Dancehall artist Squash’s track “Shubout” continues to slide down the rankings, landing at No. 5 this week. Despite its dip, the song has an impressive history on the charts, having peaked at No. 1 for four weeks and still racking up 214,446 streams in its ninth week.

Kranium’s “Higher Life” remains steady, only dropping one place to No. 6 with 175,758 streams. This marks the song’s eighth week on the charts. Najeeriii’s “1rifle” makes a significant leap, jumping six places to No. 7. The track earned 167,266 streams this week, an increase of 27,706 from last week. The surge in streams demonstrates the growing popularity of this track, now in its second week on the charts.

Louis York’s uplifting song “Have A Little Light” drops two places to No. 9, collecting 158,045 streams in its third week. Though its momentum has slowed, the track still adds a positive vibe to the chart with its blend of pop and reggae.

Lastly, Chronic Law’s “Fire & Ice” experiences the biggest fall this week, dropping six places to No. 10 with 153,051streams—a notable decline of 41,674 from last week. Chronic Law’s run with “Fire & Ice” has seen better days, but the track remains in the top 10 as it enters its third week.
