For the week of October 4, Bumpin Uglies’ Crawling Up The Wall made its debut at No. 7 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart.
It is the sixth chart entry overall of the year and only the second all-new studio LP of 2025 to break onto the reggae tally as most new reggae albums released this year have not sold more than 1000 units in a week to make the chart.
Bumpin Uglies is white American band from Annapolis, Maryland, formed in 2008. Their music blends reggae, ska, and punk, drawing influence from bands such as Sublime, Bad Religion, Reel Big Fish, and Goldfinger. The current lineup includes Brandon Hardesty, T.J. Haslett, Will Lopez, and Ethan Lichtenberger.
The band has surpassed 100 million career streams on Spotify since the release of their debut album, Free Candy, in 2011, followed by a series of albums and EPs, including Go Folk Yourself (2012), Ninjah: Reggae Assassins (2013), Keep It Together (2016), and Beast from the East (2018), which reached #1 on Billboard’s Top Reggae Albums. They have also released acoustic albums like Songs From the Basement(2017) and Live @ Sugarshack Sessions (2019), and continued producing new material with Keep Your Suitcase Packed(2020), Mid-Atlantic Dub (2022), and Lyrics Over Everything (2024).

Crawling Up The Wall released September 19, 2025 via Ugly Records has accumulated just over 1 million streams on Spotify.
Known for their extensive touring across the U.S., festival appearances, and collaborations with other reggae and punk artists, Bumpin Uglies have also engaged in creative projects such as a custom beer release and charity compilations, showcasing their versatility and community engagement in the reggae-punk scene.
Meanwhile, at the top of the reggae charts this week, Bob Marley and The Wailers maintain their iron grip with The Wailers at No. 1, while Shaggy’s Best Of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection holds steady at No. 2. Sean Paul continues to flex his catalog strength with The Trinity at No. 3 and Dutty Rock at No. 6, while Stick Figure runs the table with three entries: World On Fire (No. 4), Wisdom (No. 8), and Set In Stone (No. 9). UB40’s Greatest Hits sits at No. 5, and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley’s Welcome To Jamrock rounds out the Top 10.
