World Music Views Presents YouTube’s Top Summer Songs In Jamaica 2024

Although many of these songs will not be aired on the radio due to their content, they shaped streaming algorithms, parties, street dances well into September.

World Music Views presents the top 10 most streamed songs of the summer in Jamaica for 2024- these hits ruled the season.

10. Lumbah – Valiant & DJ MAC (1.66M views)

Valiant’s “Lumbah,” a collaboration with DJ MAC that garnered 1.66 million views in Jamaica. This track solidified Valiant’s presence in the Dancehall scene, featuring an infectious baseline and explicit lyrics that cater specifically to female listeners. With over 14 million views on YouTube worldwide, Lumbah established itself as a standout hit of the summer in Jamaica.

9. White Rum – Kraff Gad (1.73M views)

“White Rum” by Kraff Gad became a staple at summer parties and gatherings, earning 1.73 million views. With its catchy lyrics and danceable beat, this track quickly became a fan favorite, solidifying its place among the top songs of the season.

8. Shubout – Squash (1.80M views)

Squash makes another appearance on this list with “Shubout,” which garnered 1.80 million views. This track showcases Squash’s versatility as an artist, delivering another summer anthem that resonated across the island.

7. Don’t Fall – Chronic Law & Droptop Records (1.82M views)

Chronic Law teamed up with Droptop Records for “Don’t Fall,” a reflective track that amassed 1.82 million views. Chronic Law’s deep lyrics about resilience and perseverance resonated with many listeners, making it one of the standout songs of the summer.

6. 20 Matic – Masicka (2.04M views)

Masicka’s “20 Matic” continued his streak of hits, garnering 2.04 million views. Known for his introspective lyrics and commanding delivery, Masicka remained a fan favorite throughout the summer. “20 Matic” highlighted his lyrical prowess and reinforced his position as one of Dancehall’s leading voices.

With 2.25 million views, “HAAD (Fiesta)” became a summer favorite. Armanii, DJ MAC, and CrashDummy brought a festive vibe to the track, making it a go-to anthem for parties and celebrations. The song’s upbeat tempo and infectious energy helped it climb the charts.

Valiant made a significant impact with “GodFada,” amassing over 2.29 million views. The song blends catchy hooks with sharp lyrics, showcasing Valiant’s versatility as an artist. “GodFada” not only became a street anthem but also helped elevate Valiant’s standing in the Dancehall scene.

Squash takes the crown this summer with “Big Breeze,” racking up a staggering 3 million views on YouTube locally. The track, infused with Squash’s signature gritty lyrics and heavy beats, resonated deeply with fans, making it the most streamed song in Jamaica this summer.
