Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has officially announced the launch of a pornography division called Yeezy Porn under his Yeezy brand.
The announcement was made on April 24 on his social media pages.
His representatives have confirmed that Ye has been considering this venture for some time and is now in advanced talks with partners.
He has been consulting with Michael “Mike Moz” Mosny, an actor and producer in the adult entertainment industry and the ex-husband of Stormy Daniels. If finalized, Yeezy Porn could debut as early as this summer. This news comes after Ye’s previous admission in 2019 of struggling with a pornography addiction, which he claimed had a significant impact on his life choices.
Ye traced his “full-on porn addiction,” back to encounters with Playboy magazine at the young age of five. In a candid conversation with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the rapper discussed how this addiction has influenced his life choices, including his battle with sex addiction following the death of his mother in 2007.
Reflecting on his journey, Kanye had expressed his commitment to overcoming these challenges through his faith as a born-again Christian as he was campaigning his Billboard chart topping Jesus is King album.
He revealed his efforts to maintain a celibate environment during the production of his album “Jesus Is King,” demonstrating his dedication to spiritual growth and personal transformation.
“Now that I’m in service to Christ, my job is to spread the gospel, to let people know what Jesus has done for me,” said Ye, who was still with Kim Kardashian at the time. “I’ve spread a lot of things. There was a time I was letting you know what high fashion had done for me, I was letting you know what the Hennessey had done for me, but now I’m letting you know what Jesus has done for me, and in that I’m no longer a slave, I’m a son now, a son of God. I’m free.”
Ye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian gained popularity after a home made video of her and singer Ray J became the talk of pop culture.
With his version of the Christian gospel now in the distance, he has recently faced criticism for sharing explicit images of his present wife, Bianca Censori, leading to concerns about exploitation.
